Join us for one of Victoria’s best open water swims, the 23rd annual Australia Day Swim on 26th January 2013, in historic and picturesque Williamstown.
The event attracts many swimmers in age groups from Junior (12-17 years), Open (18-29 years), Seniors (30-39 years), Masters (40-49 years), Veterans (50-59 years), Veterans Plus (60 years and over) and past winners include some of the greats of Australian swimming. There is also a Nipper event for juniors, a 250m swim (U8, U10) and a 500m swim (U10, U12, U14).
Registration is in the Club’s hall from 8:00am until 20 minutes prior to race start time.
The 5 x 1km team event, proudly sponsored by the Stonehenge Group, starts at 10.30am.
Proceeds raised from the swims go to the Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club for training, rescue
equipment and education resources for the Nippers, Cadets and Lifeguards to keep our beaches safe.
